Verdict

It's difficult to recommend any of these with much confidence given their current modest form. Ambitious Icarus is getting steadily closer without yet threatening the winner while Master Bond is back on a winning mark but would prefer some cut in the ground. TOM SAWYER never figured on his return but won in this grade on the all-weather in November and is only 1lb higher today. He's preferred to Bunce, beaten at Musselburgh last week of today's mark, and gets the vote.
