Instinction’s only poor run so far came when poorly drawn at Beverley last July. Gis A Sub would be the clear form pick on his second in the Gimcrack last August but he hasn’t raced since disappointing in another Group 2 at Chantilly in October and is having a first try over the minimum. MITBAAHY was slowly away at Nottingham so did well to get within a length of the winner and he’ll strip fitter today. Edward Cornelius is battle-hardened but has a bit to find at the weights.
