        Verdict

        Shimrano beat several of these when landing a Group 2 trial in Cologne but runner-up Areo and the third Nutan were not beaten far. The latter looks the first choice of Peter Schiergen's five runners ahead of Listed winner Nordic Flight, partnered by William Buick, and Richard Kingscote's ride Graasten. Rob Havlin has decent claims on Areo but both the latter and Rogue Runner, with Oisin Murphy on board, finished behind SHADOW SADNESS when Christian Von Der Recke's colt won a Group 3 at Frankfurt in May. He could prove a bit of value in this along with Palace Prince.
