In depth

Verdict

Carmanero, Willkandoo and Electric Warrior catch the eye here with WILLKANDOO taken to win. Carmanero has only one win in twenty seven starts and that came over a year ago. So, although he is dropped to claiming class for the first time he looks easy to oppose, especially as he is not well treated at the weights. Electric Warrior is not without ability as three wins give testify, and he ran well when dropped into claiming class last time. He can go well again having been campaigned in some good handicaps recently. Willkandoo is dropped to this grade for the first time and it is a little surprising that he is, given a good win two outings ago in an Irish handicap. He is well treated here, and Willkandoo can win his second race in three starts.
