Verdict

Sharps Choice easily gained the first victory of his career at Kilbeggan so a 6lb rise is unlikely to prevent another big run. He had earlier been beaten narrowly by Line Out off levels at Killarney and should have few problems reversing the form on the revised terms. Young Turk was beaten a long way on heavy going at Listowel so conditions won't be in his favour but ST LAWRENCE GAP has been in excellent form on the Flat and over hurdles all summer and can continue his sequence here. Eiri Na Casca is another who has been going well and should make his presence felt from the bottom of the weights.
