There have been six renewals of this and three-year-olds have won them all. AN SAINCHEANN will be supported to buck that trend and there are good reasons to suggest she can do so. Jim Bolger's filly has only had three races in her life and she wasn't far behind the classy Famous Name in the last of them, form that gives her a definite edge. Dermot Weld has a good record in the race and relies on Sharp Crisp Air, who looks a big threat after an eye-catching debut at Leopardstown where her rider managed to get himself boxed in despite there being just five runners. She'll be winning soon while it's about time Lady Giselle was losing her maiden tag though she may have to wait for a handicap. Jim Bolger also runs the newcomer Teochrios, who may just need the experience.
