Enchanted Magic landed a course and distance maiden on heavy ground in February and has joined Willie Mullins. He only won by half-a-length and the runner-up is rated 107 so he doesn't look well treated though will no doubt find improvement. Backintheroom won a bumper here in March but finished tailed off on his hurdling debut at Punchestown last weekend. Rodney Bay won a Downpatrick maiden on his twelfth attempt over hurdles and has run very well in two subsequent starts while Itwasfate ran better than his finishing position suggests at Wexford. HEY JOHNNY reappeared after a break to run a cracking race at Punchestown then landed a Clonmel handicap in style. He started favourite at Cheltenham next time but only got as far as the first and compensation awaits.
