Angel's Trumpet and Legal Thriller were ridden by claimers when fighting out a finish at Killarney with the former prevailing by a short-head. The revised weights favour Jim Bolger's charge this time though the winner was returning after a long break and may be capable of confirming the form. Sorcha Woods used her 10lb claim to good effect when making all on the four-year-old Odd Venture at Cork last week and a 4lb rise isn't excessive though runner-up Must Be Dreaming is 3lb better off and can reverse the form. CRYSTAL POOL has gone up 9lb for her recent course and distance victory but her rider's claim is a massive bonus and a double looks on the cards. Dundalk winner Duquesa Beach is 0-10 on Turf but finished strongly over the track and trip three weeks ago and can get into the money.
