Verdict

Fiery Oscar has gone from a rating of 94 to 127 over hurdles after four successive victories, all of them when well backed. He was beaten on the Flat last month but even with his big weight is impossible to dismiss. SHANPALLAS is a young hurdler going places judged on his impressive victory over 2m4f at Down Royal where he travelled well throughout. He enjoys quick ground so wouldn't want more rain and can defy a 10lb hike in the weights and take this. Usa has also gone up the same amount after an impressive victory over a big field at Clonmel so he's on the short-list along with Celestial Prospect, who scored on his latest start over hurdles at Wexford in October and on the Flat there a month ago.
