In depth

Verdict

Klinnsman showed promise in bumpers but so far has disappointed over hurdles including when fancied here last month. Nimdani was a 66/1 chance at Limerick early this month and deservedly so on what he'd shown previously. But he belied his odds with a cracking effort behind the favourite Ange D'Or Javilex and would have finished even closer but for being impeded by the winner. Shukhov showed nothing in two starts over hurdles but has made progress on the Flat and scored twice over a mile in the autumn. To Choose has been inconsistent but shown ability on several occasions though this looks yet another at the mercy of the champion trainer. TELL US MORE was purchased by Gigginstown for an incredible £290,000 after landing a point-to-point at Tattersalls Farm last December. He had his first bumper start here in March and could hardly have been more impressive and is already at the head of the betting for Grade 1 events at Cheltenham.
