In depth

Verdict

Teochrios hasn't had much experience but is at the right end of the weights and has probably been racing over trips too short recently. Jim Bolger may have a better chance with Sceilg, still a maiden after ten starts but a very good second to Sharjah over this trip at Fairyhouse in July. Calgacus has been quite highly tried but looks high in the weights on what he's achieved while it's difficult to know what to make of Nymph, who was beaten a long way on Polytrack last time. There are some fine apprentices in Ireland this year and Colin Keane has proved himself one of the best so his mount CARENZA, who has continued in good form in handicaps after her victory at Leopardstown in July, can carry him to another victory.
