ROYAL CAVIAR, a winning point-to-pointer, has looked as though he's needed a thorough test of stamina so it's a surprise to find him back over the minimum trip. But he was travelling well for most of the way until outpaced by Windsor Park over 2m4f at Leopardstown so should have enough pace to see off these rivals. Cliff House did well on the Flat and wasn't beaten far in top handicaps. He will have learned from his hurdling debut at Limerick, where he made a few mistakes, and rates a threat. Lahaag won three times on the level for John Gosden and has joined a yard who can get one ready. Any market moves should be noted as he has the potential to be a useful performer.
