Rapidus has been struggling to go the early pace over shorter so the longer trip should suit though stable companion Scriptwriter showed up well at the Curragh and may have more scope. Adonis couldn't get close to the winner on the latter track and looks vulnerable but Explorers Way will have come on a bundle for last month's run there. PURPLE DAWN attracted strong support over 7f here earlier this month and though unable to get close to Cornman was a long way clear of Rapidus in third and can go one better. Alighieri, a half-brother to eight winners, and Sissoko, related to six winners, are newcomers to note.
