Verdict

Dermot Weld's horses are in top form and Astar should have come on markedly for her run at Leopardstown though this looks a hot maiden. Lumiere Rock made a promising debut at Naas and was conceding 6lb when a close second to Keep In Touch at Galway last week. Speirling Beag improved massively on testing ground at Cork so more rain would aid her cause while DELIGHTFUL looks guaranteed to make progress from her run at the Curragh. A full sister to three classic winners, she's handed the vote over stablemate High Chieftess, by Galileo out of Cheveley Park winner Tiggy Wiggy. Sounds Of Heaven cost 650,000gns being by Kingman out of a mare from a classic-winning family.
