Joseph O'Brien has two entries. Christopher Robin, a winner on the Flat at Limerick last summer, made too many mistakes on his hurdling bow at Punchestown but Star Max showed the benefit of a fair opening run to finish third behind stable companion Konitho at Naas and, with further progress likely, should make a bold bid to get off the mark. Gordon Elliott's Ingenuity looked promising at Punchestown and will have come on nicely while stable companion Coolongolook won twice for Luca Cumani last summer and is just the type his trainer excels with. Colour Me In looked a certain future winner when a close fourth in a big field at Cork though didn't run as well on a return visit but it's about time FUTURE PROOF (NAP) was winning. Noel Meade's charge followed two good opening runs with a close second to Band Of Outlaws, who has since won a better race at Naas.
