In depth

Verdict

An interesting little race in which Irish Grand National winner ORGANISEDCONFUSION is taken to score back over hurdles. He returned to action with a superb effort behind Savello over timber at Fairyhouse and the testing ground should see his stamina come into play here. Ceol Rua was narrowly beaten into third behind Make A Track at Punchestown before easily landing a Fairyhouse maiden. She didn't have any excuses when beaten at long odds-on at Wexford last time and Make A Track, who has been finding 2m4f stretching his stamina, can confirm the form with Willie Mullins' mare. Better Times is a cracking prospect and is sure to make a bold bid after an excellent reappearance to score on heavy ground at Thurles and though Saint Gervais has a little bit to find after his defeat on his hurdling debut at Cork he'll improve for the experience and is by no means out of this.
