Big Bad Sal and Himmah have had plenty of chances and are very closely matched on their placed efforts behind Coeur D'Amour at Galway with the former just coming out best. They have attained identical ratings and are difficult to separate though both are vulnerable to an improver and OPTIONAL NECESSITY fits the bill. A half-sister to the Listed winner Lexington Times, she attracted support on her debut in heavy ground at Listowel and though never threatening ran well enough to win this with the expected progress. Shes Queen showed potential in that former race at Galway where she wasn't beaten far and Jim Bolger's Cimeara has a stayer's pedigree so should be suited by this trip and ground.
