CUALA BULA found the extended 5f at Navan much too short and was staying on strongly. Colin Keane takes over the reins and she can lose her maiden tag. Patrick Street scored over this trip at Dundalk but couldn’t handle a 7lb rise and a longer trip on a return visit. Eighty Eight showed his first sign of form when tackling a mile here where he was running on. The ground was soft that day so he could find this on the short side unless there’s significant rain and Shaky Operator, who showed good speed throughout in that race, could turn the tables. Helpmeout ran very well over 1m2f at Navan though takes a big drop in trip.
