MARMALADE N TOAST showed only limited ability in his first campaign but returned to action with a much-improved effort when making all over an extended mile on heavy going at Cork. He's up 6lb but looks certain to make a bold bid. Playa Blanca started favourite in that contest on his handicap debut but, though showing more dash than last season, was beaten seven lengths and looks held. Premier League also made most over 6f at Dundalk and battled back when joined in the closing stages so the longer trip won't be a problem. Scorpion Black made a promising handicap debut at Leopardstown and is the type to improve again while Viscount Wilson is one to note on his handicap debut.
