In depth

Verdict

ZEGOS SURPRISE was a 300/1 chance for a 7f maiden over this trip at Dundalk in February and was well beaten. It was a different matter on her Turf and handicap debut at Naas a month later when attracting support and winning with a bit in hand. That was over 5f but today's trip shouldn't be a problem. Catherine Chroi gained her only success in a Dundalk handicap and has changed stables since well beaten in a claimer there last month. Benkogambit has yet to reach a place but has finished a close-up fourth in his last four starts at Dundalk and should be thereabouts again. The market could provide some clues to the remainder in what is a low-class handicap.
