Verdict
Joseph O'Brien won this last year and though recent acquisition Jack Dillinger has been disappointing he's been racing in much stronger company. New Identity won a minor handicap on the Flat at Killarney in August and is by no means highly tried on his hurdling debut while Generalisation will know his job despite not being seen since well beaten on his debut between the flags in February of last year. TURBINE, a dual all-weather winner, has been running very well on Turf all summer but can't get his head in front and is 0-23. He's also had four starts over timber and been placed just once but his overall form is the strongest of these and he gets the nod.
