Verdict

Firm Handshake made a promising debut but disappointed at Leopardstown last time while Lygon Street returns to action representing last year’s winning yard. King Of Wessex and Smote are likely improvers but the newcomer KNIGHT TO KING (NAP), an Irish Derby entry, may prove good enough. The latter is related to several winners including Ghaiyyath and Zhukova, who both won at the highest level.
