Meryems Way began her second season on a mark of 45 and took advantage over this track and trip on ground with plenty of give. She's 9lb higher but that's still low enough to give here a chance of a follow-up. There was no doubting her superiority at the finish but runner-up FAERIE LAWS was staying on from the rear and, with a big pull in the weights and another furlong to travel, she can take her revenge. Gatsby Cap hasn't had much experience and was racing from a reduced mark when winning with a bit in hand at Dundalk so a 6lb rise shouldn't prevent another big run. Grace To Grace showed potential in her final start in October and has moved to Joseph O'Brien, who should be exploiting her lowly mark before long, while Elusive Fantasy ran her best race on testing ground here in October.
