This has been run three times and Jim Bolger has won them all, two with three-year-olds. CUBAN HOPE is the yard's representative here and he's been given a break since beaten on soft ground at Leopardstown on his hat-trick attempt. Providing the going doesn't ease, he can follow his victories at Dundalk and Navan and continue his stable's sequence. Castle Guest has won twice over the track and trip and has scored from much higher marks. He's been narrowly beaten the last twice and should soon be adding to his seven victories. The three-year-old Pepperoni Pete finished a close third over 7f here with a comfortable victory over a mile at Cork where he stayed on well. He hasn't raced over a trip this far but should be suited and a 4lb rise isn't excessive. High Street Lady, a winner at Dundalk in March last year, is 14lb lower than when starting out in handicaps and her trainer knows how to exploit a falling mark.
