Abbey Glen defied his inexperience to beat a huge field at Navan last week but a 6lb rise may be enough to halt his progress. He had earlier run poorly behind Arctic Mick on heavy ground at the same venue when STABILO finished a fine second. The latter is expected to be suited by stepping up to today's trip and looks on a winning mark. Dual point-to-point winner Symphonist gained his first victory over timber in 17 starts at Downpatrick on Sunday when making all and similar tactics could pay dividends here though a 9lb rise tempers enthusiasm. Dunroe Boy produced his best run over timber behind Get In There at Down Royal and he's another who should do better over today's trip though he's just held on that run by Kellystown Jack, who was having only his sixth start over timber that day.
