Call Me Rocky made a promising debut when a close third at Limerick but was well beaten at Punchestown though a bad mistake two out put paid to any chance he had. Easca Peasca finished mid-division in the latter event but had won on the Flat at Fairyhouse earlier and will improve. SON OF HYPNOS won three of his last five starts on the level last year, all over 1m4f on heavy ground, so looks the type to do well over hurdles and can make a winning debut. Mephisto won a Sandown handicap for Ralph Beckett though has never raced on ground this testing. Gallaside completed a hat-trick as a two-year-old for Archie Watson but didn't show much in handicaps last summer.
