WILDCAT KITTEN showed absolutely nothing in three maiden starts at Dundalk but that didn't prevent a wholesale gamble taking place on him at Navan last month. He appeared to get a bit outpaced when the tap was turned on then stayed on strongly over the mile so tonight's longer trip will suit and those who had their fingers burnt can gain compensation. Caliso Bay had been going well over further so it was a surprise to see her drop back to a mile at Dundalk but she stayed on strongly to take the lead close home and she's another who will be happier over this trip though she's 9lb higher. Punch Bag's best effort came over 1m3f on soft ground at Limerick so he may find this on the short side while it's difficult to know what An Fear Ciuin has done to be saddled with topweight even in this lowly grade.
