        Verdict

        Aidan O'Brien has farmed this race in the last 10 years winning it seven times and RAPHAEL SANTI looks like adding his name to the list. He was doing his best work at the finish when grabbing second place over 6f at Leopardstown three weeks ago and can go one better over today's extra furlong. An entry in the Phoenix Stakes suggests the Teofilo colt Alnaahee has been showing something at home, while Blue White Fire doesn't hold any fancy entries, but his half-brother won on his debut for Dermot Weld. Makalali, Feng Su and Lonrach are all worth noting for the future.
