A small field which could be reduced further with Mr Excellency engaged yesterday at Beverley. Just Fine came right back to form when beating a good yardstick easily at Sandown but has gone up 8lb. SIR RUMI keeps on improving and was second off this mark last time at Newmarket so gets the nod even though Highland Rocker probably needed last month’s fourth at HQ. Without Revenge did finish ahead of the selection at Ascot in June and is better off at the weights but the pair have gone in different directions since.
