Breath Of Air came up just short in a lower grade at Haydock but Magical Wish returned a big-price winner at this level at Doncaster with stablemate Oh This Is Us behind. Battered has won in soft ground in the distant past and slips further down the weights along with Cardsharp and the latter’s stablemate Monoski but a chance is taken on the returning MILLTOWN STAR with the underfoot conditions in his favour. He ended last season with a Listed victory in France and there should be more to come from Mick Channon’s charge this year now gelded.
