Verdict
Many A Star won the consolation race for the Stewards’ Cup over track and trip last time and is only 2lb higher but ATALANTA’S BOY was racing off today’s mark when winning this for the second time last year. He finished well ahead of Indian Creak on that occasion and may well bounce back to form on his first outing for Martin Smith’s yard. Fivethousandtoone still looks high enough in the weights as he returns to this shorter trip while Dusky Lord remains 8lb higher than when winning at Newmarket back in May.
