Verdict

Libranno had The Cheka and Palace Moon behind when winning the Criterion Stakes at Newmarket in June. He's been aimed high since so has to be respected back in this grade but does have to carry a penalty here. Hooray won over this trip at Epsom in June but the filly's stamina may be stretched on this softer surface and she's badly drawn for a front-runner. DONCASTER ROVER is also drawn high and has proved best over 6f in the past. But he wore down Majestic Myles over this trip at York eight days ago and is weighted to reverse earlier C&D running with Libranno. With Fallon on board, he could easily score again as Balthazaar's Gift doesn't appear the force of old and has something to find with a couple of these on recent form.
