KING TORUS sets the standard here and although Crown Prosecutor has looked a smart prospect in a couple of starts the Richard Hannon runner keeps the vote while stable mate Major Art should feature. An impressive winning debut was followed by a slightly poor run in listed company before the pick showed his true colours by winning the Group Two Superlative Stakes on the undulations of Newmarket's July course. He is looking progressive and should improve again so has to get the vote. Stable companion Major Art will have Ryan Moore for company and stepped p nicely from a promising debut run to score in a Lingfield Maiden. He'll need to improve again but the champion jockey has a good record when riding for Richard Hannon and a bold bid is likely. Crown Porsecutor has done little wrong in a couple of starts and has the added advantage of having won at this track. That came on debut in a strong maiden and with a taking performance at Salisbury to follow that he is potentially very smart. Stentorian is clearly progressive but will need to show more on his run in listed company last time so King Torus looks the safest bet as he has the least to prove.
