This has got go down as one of the best renewals in recent years and perhaps one of the top two-year-old races seen so far this season. Preference is for the gallant MONSIEUR CHEVALIER who has done nothing wrong this season. Richard Hannon's colt has only tasted defeat once, and that was in the Norfolk Stakes when badly hampered at a key stage. He bounced back to win the Super Sprint at Newbury last time and his experience of different tracks (never run at the same track twice in six starts) can only help here. Reignier is consistent enough and was second in the Norfolk, Star Rover and Archers Road have been holding their form extremely well, whilst Totally Invincible and Mdawee are closely linked on their Chester run last time where they finished first and second respectively but this is much tougher. Mister Manannan was not disgraced in the Windsor Castle at Ascot, whereas Here Now And Why was fifth in the Super Sprint behind the selection but is worse off at the weights today. Bould Mover is progressive and he was impressive last time at Beverley; connections did so well with Zafisio (who won at Goodwood) last year that it would be foolish to dismiss the claims of Bould Mover this afternoon. Punters and bookmakers won't underestimate the claims of the progressive Iver Bridge Lad today following his Listed Sandown win last time out, however it is the winning machine Monsieur Chevalier who can prevail again.
