Tough Speed came from some way off the pace to finish third to No Excuse Needed at Royal Ascot, and while that form is better than most of these, this relatively sharp mile may count against him. Late Night Out is better over seven furlongs, and Atlantis Prince is hard to assess, but one to consider on his two-year-old form, but a confident vote goes to Priors Lodge. Fast ground is the key to this horse, who ran well on his reappearance at Newmarket and has not really had his optimum conditions since then. Although well behind Tough Speed last time, he receives weight today and should reverse the form.
