In depth

Verdict

Ouzo placed at Sandown before returning a beaten favourite at the same track while Thunder Ball disappointed when sent off favourite at Newmarket. The Gatekeeper went close here at the start of the month but never figured at York earlier in the week and SUDDEN AMBUSH (NAP) is preferred. The latter scored over track and trip in May and a recent second at Newmarket suggests he’s up to winning again off his current mark.
