Zlatan has been in fine form all summer and certainly deserved his easy victory at Sandown though he’s up 5lb and has never won from a mark this high. Abel Tasman has only won once, on fast ground at Haydock, and though he’s been running well he’s 11lb higher. OH IT’S SAUCEPOT completed a hat-trick on good to soft last summer and didn’t have those condition again until Yarmouth last time when she looked right back to her best. She looks the one to beat as Black Caesar has been getting beaten regularly this summer and is probably a few pounds high. Family Fortunes has only won on the all-weather and this ground could prove too slow while Harlequin Striker does best in lower-grade handicaps.
