Seeking Magic was controversially thrown out by the stewards after winning this last year off a 2lb higher mark. Go Far was the chief beneficiary and he’s only a pound higher while Clear Spring was a close-up fourth and is 8lb lower, though may not be the force of old. The three-year-old QUEEN IN WAITING could have the plum draw nearest the stands rail and she has the early pace to take advantage. Mark Johnston’s filly didn’t quite get home over this trip at Newmarket last time but this is a much easier track. Boy In The Bar and Moonraker look to be running into form and Vibrant Chords won over 5f here last time but Upstaging has had a break and was well beaten on his only previous try in this grade.
