Spencers Wood (IRE) Improved effort last time but has not won since juvenile days and is best watched.
Blue Mountain A little in and out this season and may be in the grip of the Handicapper at present.
Softly Tread (IRE) Puts the form of the Irish 1000 Guineas on the line and although she only finished seventh in that race, that was her only defeat so far and thus is very much respected here; one for the short-list.
Cubism (USA) On a long losing run and failed to impress on his only try at this trip two years ago and so is not hard to oppose here.
Free Rider Largely consistent in defeat and should run his race but tens to find at least one too good.
Granny's Pet Consistent sort who seems to handle any ground however, is another whose wins to runs profile is hardly inspiring.
Lots of Magic Holds a chance on the best of his form but needs to step up on his recent effort to figure.
Proceed With Care Failed to build on his reappearance win at Newmarket back in April and but put up a better show at this track behind Late Night Out last month, and not without a chance if repeating that run.
Hilltop Warning In fine form this term and should go well but is stepped up in class here and looks to have something to prove.
Camberley (IRE) Course and distance winner who can usually be relied upon to run his race but he has not managed to trouble the judge since his Goodwood win.
Willoughby's Boy (IRE) Closely matched with Hilltop Warning and will need to find improvement to figure.
Gleaming Blade (USA) Capable at best but others hold stronger claims.
