In depth

Verdict

Desirous steps up in distance on her return having won a novices' race over 7f at Kempton when last in action. She makes her handicap debut along with Tronada, a runner-up at Newmarket in October. Sweet Poem and Huddle are others handicapping for the first time but PENNYWHISTLE is preferred as John Gosden’s filly found herself with ground to make up after stumbling from the stalls at Chelmsford last time and was beaten only a neck. She can go one better with normal luck in-running. Al Messila ran well for second at Newmarket last week but drops back in trip today.
