Pour La Victoire won this in 2016 but never figured in last year’s renewal. He won over a mile at Brighton last month, however, while Tigerwolf has been in winning form on the all-weather this year and could also go well. Kinglam and OEIL DE TIGRE were both placed at Chepstow on their respective latest starts with the latter preferred on his narrow-margin defeat on fast ground. Tony Carroll’s charge gets the nod as Billyoakes is usually thereabouts but hard to catch right and Sea Shack drops back down in distance.
