LOYALISTE is interesting on debut though it would be no surprise to see Regal Guest and Cast Of Stars improving upon their respective debuts. The colt cost 210 000 euros at the sales and is related to a number of continental winners. If he is fit enough on debut, this does not look to be the strongest of maidens. Regal Guest is a half-brother to Midnight Dreamer. He ran far better than his finishing position suggests at Chepstow. He would need to reverse form with Cast Of Stars on their meeting. The gelding is not as well drawn on this occasion. Stormglass is from a family that included many winners. The trainer is in form though his strike rate with juveniles is fairly low this year. Chat Da Soie is rated just 60 so it would be disappointing were there nothing to improve past him. Apache Kid was soon struggling at Chepstow and will need to have improved plenty since. A race where the market activity could prove key to pinpointing the winner but in the absence of it, Loyaliste appears the most plausible option.
