Verdict
God Willing made a very promising reappearance at Chelmsford and is only a pound higher. He's equally effective on Turf so goes on the short-list but it's difficult to get away from FIFTYSHADESOFGREY (NAP). Despite having to wait for a gap to appear, George Baker's four-year-old found a fine turn of foot to beat Pastoral Player over course and distance earlier this month, when Bertiewhittle was behind, and the runner-up franked the form with a good run at Newbury on Saturday. Take A Note did well last year but has a lengthy absence to overcome while recent winners Major Crispies and Beach Bar need to up their game again. Saucy Minx is now on a career-high mark after winning narrowly at Salisbury but Mr Win could go well with a run at Ascot under his belt.
