In depth

Verdict

JET AWAY, who didn't run as a juvenile, won twice last season and returned with an impressive success on fast ground at Lingfield. That was over 1m2f but he's by Cape Cross and should have no problems lasting out this longer trip. Passion For Gold was a long way behind in that Lingfield event and the fast ground may be against this lightly-raced colt, who had looked a very high-class performer when beating Mikhail Glinka to land a Group 1 in heavy ground in Italy as a juvenile. Steele Tango has raced over the trip several times though he's best over shorter and was in excellent form in Dubai earlier in the year. He should go well but Roxy Flyer has been beaten twice at this level after progressing from handicaps and will need to improve.
