In depth

Verdict

Wild Fling had little more than a piece of work, when disposing of Camelot in a match at Newmarket. A good mover, he should be capable of further improvement. Key Virtue, a half-sister to Group one winner Among Men, will be worth a small fortune, should she get her head in front. She showed enough on her debut to suggest she can win a race and will be far better suited by a return to a fast surface, after flopping on softer ground at Leicester. It may be a pointer that Henry Cecil continues to run Sentimental Value in another maiden, rather than go handicapping with her. With that yard in better form now, it would be foolish to underestimate the filly. Lady Zonda, looks the one to beat, after a good run behind the promising Monturani. That filly has gone in again since, defeating another filly of Henry Cecil's, Oaks fancy Protectorate.
