Ottilien has won twice in testing going in France while Viareggio landed a double in handicaps last year and travels over from Ireland. Those two are weighted to beat the likes of Makinmedoit, Three Priests and Morning Poem but the latter’s stablemate EMOTION looks the one to side with. The Frankel filly was in a different league to her rivals at Kempton last time and the Oaks entry is fancied to go close at this higher level. Nottingham maiden winner Sea Silk Road is in the Ribblesdale at Ascot while Eternal Pearl is another daughter of Frankel and steps up in trip.
