Stoic Leader is in form and is worth following again, with Polar Impact, Digital and Just A Glimmer three potential dangers. Stoic Leader appears to be on the upgrade judged on his recent performances in lower grade events than this, and Roger Fisher's four-year old, with a high draw to help, can keep up the good work. He started off in sellers so has plenty more improvement to come by the looks of it and will be battling on at the end. Polar Impact has an absence to overcome but showed with a win at Newcastle that he is no back number, but better claims may be held by Digital, a course and distance winner here in the past. He has been hindered by soft ground so far this season but expect a much improved run here. Just A Glimmer lines up on the back of a soft ground victory at Warwick and it remains to be seen whether she will be as effective under these faster conditions. Fruit of Glory has to shoulder topweight but has a good draw and boasts winning form on the track. Kieren Fallon partners Perfect Portrait for David Loder, but he is drawn in stall one, and for the winner we return to Stoic Leader.
