      Verdict

      New Pursuit was partnered by a 7lb claimer when successful at Epsom and also has a 4lb rise to contend with while Golden Sands has placed on Turf in between winning on the all-weather. Ermin Street won a maiden at Southwell earlier but better was expected at Nottingham last time while RAWYAAN struggled on soft going here on his debut for George Baker’s yard. But the latter will be sharper for the outing and having landed a double on fast ground last year, a much improved effort is expected in this.
