Apache Fort, Nightspot and Blu Manruna are three against the field in a wide open finale and the narrow vote is given to Apache Fort. The selection won well last time out when beating Armwell Brave and despite his penalty he has won off a higher mark in the past and under similar conditions here he is taken to defy the handicapper. Nightspot rates the main danger on his latest fifth behind Raverino. He looks sure to be suited by this shorter trip and he should be watched in the market. Blu Manruna is another that could go well on his latest win over Billy One Punch but he looks vulnerable under his penalty in this more competitive affair. Haarth Sovereign was a staying on third over a longer trip behind Polish Red last time and is another with place claims but this shorter trip has to be a worry. Of the remainder Harry Tricker is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he looks to have plenty of weight for what he has actually achieved and with this in mind Apache Fort is taken to win again.
