Verdict

SPANISH STAR bids to win this for the third time in succession and has every chance of doing so having won twice already this year. He beat Indian Creak, Crazy Luck and Lihou in last year’s renewal. Hierarchy had the measure of Punchbowl Flyer when successful in a lower grade sprint over track and trip recently while Monsieur Kodi beat subsequent Chelmsford winner Justcallmepete in the Stewards’ Cup consolation race here in August and is only 2lb higher. Probe was due to run at Chester yesterday.
